Brewood Awakening is an informal evening service held every couple of months at St. Mary & St. Chad Church, Brewood, where we try to be open to the work of the Holy Spirit and seek to be inspired and encouraged in our faith. The format for the evening is usually a time of worship, followed by a guest speaker for around 45 minutes, ministry time that allows us to respond to what we’ve heard in various different ways, followed by coffee and doughnuts at the back of church.
Previous speakers at Awakening have included Ian McCormack, Ian Coffey, Rev. Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons (at the time), Rt. Hon Jeremy Lefroy MP, and Rt. Rev. Clive Gregory, Bishop of Wolverhampton.
Our next Awakening will be on Friday 11th October, 7.30pm, featuring Paul Field, renowned composer, singer, musician and artist, as he celebrates 50 years in the music industry.
Free admission. All welcome.
