Full revision of the Electoral Roll

The Electoral Roll is a record of everyone who considers themselves to be a member of a particular church, as a means of showing that you belong to the church, that you serve God in that church and that you support that church. It is open to anyone who either lives in the parish or habitually worships in the church.

It is also acts as the register of electors, of those who can vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM), and stand as a representative on church committees, including the Parochial Church Council (PCC).

Every 6 years there is a full revision of the Roll, and that is occurring in 2025. This means that even if you have already been included on the Roll you will need to complete a fresh application.

Ahead of the APCMs in our parishes, we have begun the process of the Roll revision. Anyone who has previously been on the Roll will have an envelope labeled at the back of the church, for completion by Sunday 5th April (Bishops Wood) or Sunday 27th April (Brewood).

Since the law does not allow the churches to use the information provided on the Electoral Roll application form for any other purpose, the forms include a data collection sheet, which complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), giving explicit consent for the churches to store and process your personal data. This will allow us to contact you, particularly via phone or email, with news and information regarding services, activities and other events.

There are additional forms for anyone not currently on the Electoral Roll of either of our churches.

The forms can also be downloaded from this page.

Please return completed forms to the vicar, one of the church wardens, or they can be emailed to admin@brewoodparishchurches.org.
